UKAS Calibration on Media Preparators

In today’s climate of strict traceability, calibration and validation of laboratory equipment is a vital component in this process. We can conduct the calibration of your equipment and help and advise through the sometimes daunting, process of calibration and validation. We have over 20 years experience working in the medical and laboratory field and understand the up-to-date calibration and validation requirements demanded by current accreditation bodies.
 
By offering an extensive service we are able to calibrate a broad range of equipment in one visit. This allows Boost Labcare to offer competitive pricing by utilising our time efficiently and effectively.
 
We can also offer competitive service maintenance contracts on your equipment and the routine calibration can be built into the contracts giving you peace of mind in the performance of your equipment.

Calibration Procedure

During a Media Preparator Calibration 2 type ‘T’ thermocouples will be attached to the media preparator, which have previously been calibrated using a UKAS calibrated precision reference thermometer on site. Any errors associated with the thermocouples will be calculated and subsequently removed from all results. The calibration will be conducted according to the UKAS accredited procedure detailed in our Quality Manual.
